SERGE AVEDIKIAN'S FILM 'PARAJANOV' MAY NOMINATED FOR OSCAR

The Oscar Committee of Ukraine has selected three films that
will compete for Oscar nomination from Ukraine - Kira Muratova's
'Ever-lasting return', Ahmet Seitablayev's 'Khaitarma' and 'Parajanov'
by Serge Avedikian and Yelena Fetisova.
The film 'Parajanov' received the Grand Prix of the Odessa film
festival. It tells about the great filmmaker's life after he turned 40.
On September 12 the Committee is to announce the nominee from Ukraine.
The 86th Oscar Award ceremony is to be held in Los Angeles, on
September 2, 2014.
