    9 PROTESTERS DETAINED ON BAGHRAMIAN AVENUE

    Nine participants of the protest against Armenia's entry into the
    Customs Union were detained today, Aysor.am was informed by the
    press service of the Armenian police. The protest was staged outside
    the presidential residence at building No 26 on Baghramian Avenue
    in Yerevan.

    A report on an administrative infraction committed by those citizens
    was drawn up under Article 182 (refusal to carry out a legal order of
    a policeman and serviceman on duty) of the RA Code of Administrative
    Infractions.

    According to media reports, activists Argishti Kivirian and David
    Sanasarian are among those detained.

    About a hundred people are participating in the protest against
    Armenia's entry into the Customs Union. Protesters are chanting
    "Russians go home" and "There is no return to the USSR". A group of
    protesters tried to block Baghramian Avenue, but were detained. The
    protest action was planned in advance via Facebook.
