2 PER 100 THOUSAND RESORT TO SUICIDE IN ARMENIA - PSYCHOLOGIST

YEREVAN. - Following the global economic crisis, suicides have
increased in the whole world.
Psychologist Samvel Torosyan stated the aforesaid Tuesday, during a
press conference devoted to the World Suicide Prevention Day.
"Aside from the social problems, however, there are other reasons
that cause suicides. They include the domestic-family conflicts-as
well as psychological problems," noted the psychologist.
In his words, the last time when the World Health Organization had
issued respective statistics was in 2008, according to which two
persons per 100,000 residents turn to suicide in Armenia.
