Independence Day is most precious holiday of our nation - Armenian

YEREVAN. - Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the
Armenian nation, on Saturday at capital city Yerevan's Yerablur
Military Pantheon, in connection with the 22nd anniversary of
Armenia's independence.
Ohanyan stressed that the Independence Day is most precious holiday of
the Armenian nation.
`It describes the modern-day history of our Armenian nation, our
fervor for liberation. On that day, we were able to give our people
what the people have strived for. We created independence, which must
be cherished and properly passed on to our younger generation, to our
future generations. I congratulate!' the minister stated.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, on the occasion of the 22nd
anniversary of Armenia's independence, Armenia's senior officials
visited Yerablur Military Pantheon on Saturday. They paid their
respects to the memory of those that fell during the Karabakh War. The
Karabakh War veterans and the parents of those that fell during the
war likewise were at the pantheon. The defense minister approached all
war veterans, shook their hands, and congratulated them on the
occasion of the anniversary of independence.
