Russia rejects exerting pressure on neighbors

Russia is not exerting pressure on any states, including Ukraine,
regarding integration with the EU and will respect any decision, the
Kremlin chief of staff Sergey Ivanov said.
`We are not pressing the states on their choice of future economic and
political development. Saying so, you, in fact, reject sovereignty of
the states be it Ukraine, Moldova or Armenia,' he told reporters.
The Russian official noted that the countries and their parliaments
are to decide which way of economic cooperation is better, Interfax
reported.
`We will respect any Ukrainian decision whatever it will be,' Ivanov emphasized.
