COMPANIES THAT SUPPLIED BUFFALO MEAT COMPENSATE FOR DAMAGE

'Zhoghovurd' daily says the companies that supplied meat to the NKR
Defense Army have begun compensating the damage done to the Defense
Army - they sold cheaper buffalo meat instead of beef. Following
the checks conducted by the Garrison Military Prosecutor's Office
in June 2012, a criminal case was opened under Article 178 part 3
point o1 (fraud) of the Criminal Code for buffalo meat deliveries to
military units.
Several people (including director of Kapan meat packing factory
Andranik Ohanjanian) were arrested in the case. Some of them were
later released on their own recognizance. 'Zhoghovurd' tried to get
more information from senior PR officer of the Defense Ministry's
Investigation Department Mary Sargsyan, but she only said that the
investigation is still underway.
