ACTOR PLANS TO TRANSLATE FROM FRENCH BOOKS ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN. - Actor Vardan Petrosyan has planned to translate, from
French into Armenian, five or six books about the Armenian Genocide,
to publish them, and subsequently distribute them to university
students and lecturers.
Petrosyan informed the aforesaid during a press conference on Tuesday.
The actor noted that he has already found sponsors that will assist
in the translation and publication of these books. The respective
arrangements are expected to be concluded in November, and the work
should get underway in the beginning of next year.
He said the books are expected to be published before 2015; that is,
the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
Vardan Petrosyan stated that these books were written by historians
and journalists, and they depict the events that took place during
the days of the Armenian Genocide and numerous shivering things.
