LEADER OF TALYSH MOVEMENT IS IN YEREVAN
The leader of the Talysh Movement, president of Talysh-Mughan
Autonomous Republic Alikram Hummatov is in Yerevan.
The purpose of his visit is to attend the presentation of the master's
program of Talysh studies at Yerevan State University Chair of Iranian
Studies. The ceremony starts at 13.00, September 24.
Alikram Hummatov is for balanced steps in the Talysh liberation
movement, and sees the path of achieving independence of Talysh
Republic in transformation of the Republic of Azerbaijan to a
confederation, and if necessary, full independence.
During the visit Alikram Hummatov will meet with the representatives
of public, political and scientific circles. He will spend two days
in Artsakh and deliver a lecture at Artsakh State University.
