PARK OF FRIENDSHIP WITH LOS ANGELES OPENS IN SHUSHI

STEPANAKERT. - An opening ceremony of the park of friendship between
Shushi and Los Angeles took place in Shushi on Monday.
A statue of an angel, a symbol of two cities, was erected in the park,
Karabakh Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
The opening ceremony was attended by representative of the California
Assembly, members of Los Angeles City Council, representatives of
Shushi administration, citizens and guests of Shushi.
The speakers underscored importance of further expansion and
strengthening of cooperation which was set up with the declaration
on establishment of friendly relations adopted on May 9, 2012.
