UN REFUSES TO INTERFERE INTO RESETTLEMENT OF ARMENIAN REFUGEES IN NKR

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: The UN High Commissioner for
Refugees declined from interference into the matter of placement
of the Syrian refugees in the territory of the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic. As reported by Armenpress, quoting the Azerbaijani media,
on September 26 in Baku the representative of the Office of the High
Commissioner for Refugees Doug Sigurdson claimed that the Office of
the High Commissioner is informed about this process.
"We've received information on the placement of the Armenian refugees
in the territory of Nagorno Karabakh and a report on this process
has been sent to the UN headquarters in Geneva and the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, I personally think that
this question should be resolved without UN's interference, as the
organization has no relation to it," Sigurdson said.
