YEREVAN, April 3. /ARKA/. Armenia and Cuba are planning to establish
cooperation in science, press office of Armenia's State Committee for
    Science reported.

The head of the Committee Samvel Harutiunyan met with vice-president
of Cuba's Academy of Sciences Fidel Castro Dias-Balart and Cuban
ambassador to Armenia Emilio Losada Garcia.

Harutiunyan attached importance to bilateral scientific and
educational ties and expressed hopes for further cooperation.

The sides discussed bilateral programs in life sciences, physics and
technical sciences and agreed to prepare a memorandum about
    cooperation.

The Cuban guests have also visited the CANDLE Institute of synchrotron
studies and the Institute of Physics Research of Armenia's Academy of
