The newly appointed prime minister should be someone who will be able
to open workplaces and put money into circulation, says businessman
Vahagn Hovnanian.
Speaking about the activity of the former PM [Tigran Sargsyan], Mr
Hovnanian first referred to the introduction of the funded pension
system in Armenia and said that the 'mandatory component of the law
was not legitimate.'
"If people lived in better conditions, things would be different,
but it is wrong to deprive people of their bread in these hard times,"
he said.
Among the potential prime ministerial candidates the businessman
focused on Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and former President
Robert Kocharyan. He reminded that during Kocahryan's tenure of office
he was able to open Vahagni residential district, an elite district
situated on the western part of Yerevan, near Ashtarak highway, that
presents a new lifestyle and stands out from traditional approaches.
The Diasporan businessman says nothing interferes with his work.
"You have nothing to fear if you do your work correctly. Each country
has its own challenges but if you work correctly you will go ahead,"
he said.
