TEHERAN ARMENIANS RALLY IN SUPPORT OF KESSAB ARMENIANS

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS: A meeting was held at the Holy
Translators' Church of Teheran on April 6 in the evening to support
the Armenians of the Syria's Armenian-populated town-village
of Kessab. Armenpress reports that the authors of the initiative
stated that similar events will be held in the future, as long as
the continuity issue of the Genocide exists.
The Armenian deputy of the Iran's Parliament Karen Khanlaryan made a
speech in support of the Kessab Armenians. The message of the leader
of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran Archbishop Sepuh Sargsyan was read,
which said in particular:
"Today all the Armenians gather together and tries to support the
Syria's Armenians. On the other hand, it is now even more decisive
and determined to stick to its spiritual and national values and
struggles with the expectation of the people of the country".
