YEREVAN. - The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, is
illustrated as an independent state--with a separate flag and
currency--in the Turkish Fuarsepeti website, which organizes
exhibitions and is indulged in tourism.
With respect to NKR, which is separately represented in the website's
"Countries" section, it is noted that its official language is
Armenian, the population is 138 thousand, its total area is 4,400
square meters, and the national currency is the Armenian dram.
NKR's description notes that it is also called the Republic of
Artsakh, which de jure "belongs" to Azerbaijan, but it is a de facto
independent state.
