The European Court for Human Rights has begun examining the complaint
lodged by Shnogh and Teghout Villagers vs. Armenia, according to the
official website of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office.

Under this source, on 18 March 2014 the European Court for Human
Rights addressed questions to the Armenian Government based on the
complaints lodged by Teghut and Shnogh villagers, Lori Region, -
Rusayel, Zhenik, Shaghak and V. Mashinyans, L. Ramazyan, L.

Alikhanyan, R. Meliqsetyan, A. Alikhanyan etc.

The land lots of the villagers were recognized as public areas by the
government and were alienated in favor of Teghout CJSC. The residents
have been proposed very low compensation for their land areas. The
lawyer Karen Tumanyan with the support of the Open Society Institute
Armenia and the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office protects
    the rights of the villagers.
