GEORGIAN PREMIER TO DISCUSS VISA REGIME IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. Georgia's premier Irakly Garibashvili
who is in Armenia on Thursday-Friday for an official visit invited
by his colleague Hovik Abrahamyan will discuss current issues of the
bilateral cooperation between the countries, Novosti-Armenia says
referring to RIA Novosti citing Georgia's state administration.

The sides will focus on the situation between Georgia's having signed
the EU association agreement and Armenia's joining the Customs Union.

The parties will discuss the conflicting aspects and will seek a format
of interaction that is acceptable to both countries, says the report.

Apart from this, Armenia intends to bring up the issue of visa regime
in relations to Georgia's plans to introduce visa regime with Armenia
as from September 1. The respective statement was made by the Armenian
    premier earlier.

As part of his visit Garibashvili will have meetings with Armenia's
president Serzh Sargsyan, speaker Galust Sahakyan, premier Hovik
Abrahamyan and other high-ranking officials. After a tete-a-tete
meeting of the two premiers, extended-format Armenia-Georgia talks
will be held with a joint press conference by the premiers afterwards.

Georgian mass media report foreigners, irrespective of their
citizenship, will have to apply to Georgian embassies and consulates
for a visa as from September 1, 2014, if planning to arrive and stay
in the country for more than 90 days for education, job, business or
    family reunion purposes. -0--
