    Georgian PM highlights steps aimed at cooperation between Armenian and
    Georgian parliaments

    YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. On August 22, the Chairman of the
    National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Galust Sahakyan received
    the delegation led by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli
    Garibashvili, who paid an official visit to Armenia. The Deputy of the
    National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov, the
    Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia
    Hrayr Tovmasyan, MPs of the National Assembly of the Republic of
    Armenia, as well as the Ambassadors of the two countries attended the
    meeting. The Information and Public Relations Department of the
    National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress"
    that the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia
    Galust Sahakyan welcomed the guests and stated that this visit proves
    once again the willingness of the two countries to strengthen and
    expand the comprehensive cooperation.

    The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili greeted the Chairman
    of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and
    the attendees and noted that the visit of the Georgian delegation
    targets to further develop the friendly ties with the neighboring
    country and contribute to strengthening of the economic and cultural
    relations. Among other things, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli
    Garibashvili highlighted the steps aimed at expanding cooperation
    between the Armenian and Georgian Parliaments.
