Young US-Armenian chess-player hits exceptional record

A young US-Armenian chess-player struck an unprecedented record after
winning grandmaster's title for the third time.
Samvel Sevyan, 13, reached the exceptional result in an open
championship in Rockville. He thus became the first ever young chess
player in US to hit such a unique record, reports Armchess.am.
To obtain FIDE's confirmation, Sevyan now needs to raise his rating to 2,500.
