On Saturday, August 23, about 600 people demonstrated in Paris to
support the Kurds and Yazidis victims of massacres committed by the
Islamic State (EI) in Iraqi Kurdistan and advocate for humanitarian
aid for the people who fled.
In an Armenian delegation, CCAF and Armenian Institute of France,
Pastor René Leonian sent a message of support to the Kurdish-Yazidi
community. In his speech, he said: "We want to say emphatically to our
Yezidis brothers, brothers Kurds, Alevis our brothers and our
Christian brothers of all faiths (whether Assyrian-Chaldeans,
Armenians and others) we denounce these crimes against humanity, we
denounce this genocide."
