ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES GEORGIAN MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received Georgian Minister
of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, the presidential press
service reported.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that Mr Tchikaidze's visit will be
effective and will contribute to the further expansion of cooperation
between the police agencies of Armenia and Georgia.
Aleksandre Tchikaidze noted that the Armenian Police and the Georgian
Ministry of Internal Affairs cooperate closely. He said that the aim
of his visit is to further strengthen these ties.
The interlocutors agreed that to confront the modern challenges and
effectively solve the regional problems, Armenia and Georgia need
to continue the cooperation and the high-level political dialogue,
mutual visits, constructive and warm relations facilitate that process.
