    ARMENIA 94TH IN CORRUPTION PERCEPTIONS INDEX 2014

    Armenia ranks 94th among 174 countries in the Corruption Perceptions
    Index 2014 released by the Transparency International.

    With 37 points from 100 possible Armenia shares the 94th place with
    Panama, Egypt, Columbia, Gabon and Liberia.

    Armenia's neighbors are placed as follows: Georgia - 50th, Turkey -
    64th, Azerbaijan - 126th, Russia shares the 136th place with Iran,
    Nigeria, Lebanon, Cameroon and Kyrgyzstan.

    Denmark is in top of the ranking, followed by New Zealand and Finland.

    The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories
    based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country
    or territory's score indicates the perceived level of public sector
    corruption on a scale of 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).

    A country or territory's rank indicates its position relative to
    the other countries and territories in the index. This year's index
    includes 175 countries and territories.
