CHAVUSHOGHLU REPEATS BEATEN THESIS ON ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER OPENING

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Foreign Affairs
of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoghlu, always speaking with Armenia in
the language of preconditions, made another unrealistic statement
concerning the Armenian-Turkish relations. Armenpress reports, citing
the Turkish Sabah that during his flight to the NATO Foreign Ministers
meeting, in the airplane Chavushoghlu touched upon the statement of
Pope Francis on opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, emphasizing
that it is the wish of the Pope.
Trying to mislead the unaware people and concealing the fact that the
progress in the Armenian-Turkish relations has always been hindered
by Ankara, Chavushoghlu stated that Turkey as well wants to open
the border. "In the Armenian issue Turkey always makes steps. There
is no sound from the other side and our outstretched hand remains
unanswered", - said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey,
forgetting that Armenia has for many times stated about its readiness
to establish relations with Turkey without preconditions.
