Armenian participants won five prizes at the Riga Symphony 2014

Young Performers held in the Latvian capital December 4-8. Armenia
was represented at the contest by four students of the "Do-Re-Mi"
    vocal school.

Awards were handed in five nominations: "Original song," "World hit,
"Song by a Latvian songwriter," "Traditional or folk song from the
participant nation" and "Academic vocal song."

The contest featured 200 participants from 18 countries. Director of
the "Emmy-B" producing center Vrezh Kirakosyan was represented in the
jury. He told reporters today that Armenian children have received
invitations to participate in different international competitions.
