ZHOGHOVURD: PUTIN URGES TALKS BETWEEN ARMENIAN, KAZAKH LEADERS?

The Armenian-Kazakh relations were discussed between the two countries'
leaders yesterday in a phone conversation which the paper claims took
place upon Russian President Vladimir Putin's initiative.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the Russian leader had asked
Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Norsultan Nazarbayev to consider plans
for ratifying Armenia's Eurasian Economic Union accession treaty and
agree on talks in a bilateral format.
A statement about the two presidents' conversation was published on
the Armenian leader's official website Wednesday afternoon.
