"There is no money intended for "Nairit" in the budget": Prime Minister (video)

At the meeting with "Nairit" employees Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan
rejected the fact that the factory director of not working company was
paid 2 million 600 thousand salary. He noted that Nairit employees had
the right to demand their salaries, but not from Prime Minister or
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan, "You have
a council of directors, you have a director, who are responsible for
those issues."
The Government wants to support you. You have raised the issue to pay
your several months' salary but you must understand that there isn't
money intended in the budget, the factory doesn't work. We have
applied to the International Bank to send specialists, who will say
how they see the future of "Nairit", whether we will be able to
operate the factory or not. They have already started their work and
the results will be known in February-March. If there are reasoned
suggestions, we are ready that "Nairit" can operate, the Government
will do its best so that you can work. More than 2000 people work and
it is important for me and the Government that those people aren't
left unemployed,"- said Hovik Abrahamyan.
The rest of protesters continue the action near the Government building.
"Nairit" employees are displeased with the meeting with Prime
Minister, "No concrete answer has been given, it has been told that in
December and January 2 months' salary will be paid. But we don't want
2 months' salary,"- say the protesters.
On Monday at 8 o'clock "Nairit" employees are gathering at "Nairit"
factory to decide the future actions.
