Yerevan airport resumes work as fog vanishes away

The heavy fog which prevented scheduled plane landings in Armenia's
capital earlier today has vanished away, allowing the Zvartnots
International Airport to resume its regular work.
Speaking to Tert.am, a spokesperson for the Government's General
Aviation Department, Ruben Grdzyan, said the airport can now host
planes.
Two aircrafts, heading to Yerevan from the Russian towns of
Rostov-on-Don and Mineralnye Vody were not able to land at the airport
due to bad weather conditions in the morning.
Asked why the planes did not land at the Gyumri Shirak Airport,
Grdzeyan replied, "We do not send [planes to other airports]. It is up
to an airline to decide what plane it has in reserve, and the pilot
himself chooses whether to wait or fly back," he added.
