NKR INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION PROCESS SHOULD BE EXPANDED DYNAMICALLY
"It is necessary to expand dynamically the process of international
recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and do work to ensure
Karabakh's recognition by a number of countries," the chairman of
European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryan told journalists today.
In his words, Russia-West relations will have a significant impact
on the Karabakh peace process in 2015.
"There are two options. First, the West and Russia try to assert
themselves in the format of Karabakh negotiations. Secondly, the
West and Russia show that some islands of cooperation still remain,
including the format of the negotiating process on Karabakh,"
Bekaryan noted.
He indicated the European Games in Baku, flare-ups on the Ukrainian
front, and problems related to the Islamic State as factors that may
have a direct or indirect impact on the Karabakh conflict settlement.
