10:44 * 01.02.14
The paper says it has learned from sources that the government elite
are now considering plans for possible reshuffles in the hierarchy.
Along with regional governors whose tenure is thought to be "past the
expiry date", several cabinet members are going to be replaced, says
the paper.
Citing its sources, it claims that the ministers of nature protection
and energy, Aram Harutyunyan and Armen Movsisyan, will quit their
posts soon. The latter is reportedly going to be Armenia's ambassador
to Iran. The new energy minister will be Gagik Abrahamyan, the brother
of the National Assembly President Hovik Abrahamyan, the paper
continues.
Hranush Hakobyan, who is the minister of diaspora, will be reportedly
sacked to be appointed Armenia's ambassador to the Russian Federation.
The paper says her possible removal from post is now on the
Government's agenda.
