CIVIC GROUP ASKS ARMENIAN EMPLOYERS TO RENOUNCE FUNDED PENSIONS
12:08 * 31.01.14
The Armenian civic group which is conducting an active campaign
against the funded pension system has called upon Armenian employers
to respect the Constitutional Court's decision on suspending the
amended pension law.
In a statement, the activists of 'I am Against!' ask all employers to
refrain from making salary deductions under the pretext of compulsory
social payments.
"We are confident that many employers today need their employees'
support, and employees are really ready to stand by their employers.
You, the employers, now have the chance - without incurring any
fines and penalties - to stand by your employers through a regulatory
decision. Moreover, should the Constitutional Court declare disputable
provisions invalid and conflicting with the Constitution at the March
28 hearing, employees may incur irreparable financial losses," reads
the appeal.
