COGNAC PRODUCTION IN ARMENIA GROW 9.6% IN 2013

There was 20.285 million liters of cognac produced in Armenia last
year, 9.6% more than the year before, the country's National Statistics
Service reported.
Russia and other countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States
are the main markets for Armenia cognac.
Armenian wine production rose 12.3% to 6.422 million liters, output
of champagne wines 12% to 536,400 liters, and of beer 45.2% to 19.848
million liters.
On the other hand, Armenia produced 1.6% less vodka and other hard
liquor - 9.938 million liters in all.
