YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said Yerevan is ready
to resume normalization process if Ankara displays political will
and abandons putting forward preconditions.
In an interview with Czech "Lidove noviny" newspaper, President
Sargsyan said implementation of the protocols will become a key
component for strengthening of regional stability.
Asked about obstacles to normalization, Sargsyan named unwillingness
of Turkish side to comply with the previously reached arrangements
and ratify the protocols without any preconditions.
International community shares Armenia's approach to normalize
relations without preconditions and shares the view that the ball is
in Turkey's court, he said.
