Armenia and Georgia to sign cooperation agreement on tourism

YEREVAN. - Armenia and Georgia will sign an agreement on cooperation
in the tourism sector.
The draft for the respective agreement was approved at Thursday's
session of the Government of Armenia.
Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan noted that such an agreement between
the two countries was signed back in 1993, and for a ten-year term.
Pursuant to the new agreement, the parties are going to promote mutual
tourist flow, exchange professionals and information, and develop
tourism staff.
A joint working group, comprising representatives from the Armenian
and Georgian state agencies, will coordinate the implementation of
this agreement.
