ARMENIA WANTS SIMPLIFIED VISA REGIME WITH RUSSIA

Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Artur Bagdasaryan
has asked his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev to adjust migration
laws for Armenian migrants working in Russia, Armtoday.info reports.
Russia adopted a new visa regime on January 1. Foreigners working
in Russia may stay for 90 days. The new law affects about 2 million
Armenians in Russia.
Armenia and Russia are strategic allies within the framework of the
CSTO. Armenia will soon join the Customs Union.
