Ms. Adjemian's presentation will cover the general concepts regarding
patent protection and applying for a patent. The presentation will
also touch upon strategies to protect and maintain your intellectual
property rights before filing for patent and best practices for
effectively working with a patent attorney.
Monica Adjemian is a Senior Associate Attorney with Koppel, Patrick,
Heybl & Philpott whose practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual
property, including patent, trademark and copyright matters, and
international intellectual property issues. Ms. Adjemian received a
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of
Southern California (USC) in 2005, focusing on graphics and video game
programming. Prior to attending law school, Monica worked at the Walt
Disney Company in both the Digital Media and the Parks and Resorts
Online groups. Monica attended Pepperdine law, graduating in 2009.
She has worked with Koppel, Patrick, Heybl & Philpott since the summer
of 2008 and was admitted to both the USPTO and California bars in
2009.
