AZERBAIJANIS TO SPEND LONG YEARS IN PRISON FOR KILLING ARMENIAN WOMAN IN RUSSIA

Azerbaijani citizens Eldanis Mamedov and Azar Akbarov are sentenced
to long years in prison, in Perm Krai (federal district) of Russia,
for the murder of Armenian architect Olga Karapetyan.
With a unanimous decision by the jury, Mamedov, 46, and Akbarov,
27, were sentenced to 15 and 23 years, respectively, in a maximum
security prison.
They were found guilty of committing a planned murder.
The court found out that an unidentified client had proposed Eldanis
Mamedov to kill the architect for money. And Mamedov chose as killer,
his acquaintance, former special detachment member Azar Akbarov,
who killed Karapetyan at the entrance of her home.
The killer is already serving his time for murder and illegal
possession of weapons, 59.ru reports.
