February 15, 2014 | 08:39
YEREVAN. - Armenian Presidential Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan has
recently begun to seriously prepare for holding the position of the
Prime Minister, Zhoghovurd daily reports.
"This is [true] especially after when [serving PM] Tigran Sargsyan's
government failed to carry out [President] Serzh Sargsyan's
instruction to ensure a 7 percent economic growth, and, now, the
leader of the country is expected to perhaps dissolve the government.
"As Zhoghovurd's well-informed sources inform, Vigen Sargsyan has even
started to send various groups to the RF [i.e., the Russian
Federation], to carry out lobbying with respective circles in this
direction.
"But we were unable to receive [any] comments from the Office of the
President in this regard," Zhoghovurd writes.
