AZERBAIJAN SENDS A NOTE OF PROTEST TO LATVIA

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Latvia has handed a note to Latvia for
presenting Nagorno Karabakh Republic as an independent state in "The
geography of the new world" textbook, advisor of the Embassy Geray
Muradov told APA.
Moreover, at the Latvian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Elman Zeynalov
expressed his concern over the "mistakes" made in the textbook and
handed a note, the news agency reported.
The advisor also added that the investigation carried out in this
regard found out that this textbook is not used at secondary schools.
Note that the Latvian textbook presented South Ossetia, Abjkhazia
and Nagorno Karabakh as independent states.
