Yerevan must withdraw signature from Armenia-Turkey protocols - ARF

YEREVAN. - Turkey will constantly make attempts to interfere with the
settlement of Karabakh conflict and will put forward preconditions to
normalize relations, MP from ARF Dashnaktsutyun said.
`We must realize that Turkey will not rest until the preconditions are
met. But to satisfy the preconditions of Turkey means to destroy the
Armenian statehood. On the other hand, we as a nation, the president
of our country and the political majority, should realize this and
withdraw signature from the Armenian-Turkish protocols,' Artsvik
Minasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Armenian-Turkish protocols were signed by the foreign ministers of
Turkey and Armenia, Edward Nalbandian and Ahmet Davutoglu on October
10, 2009 . However, due to unconstructive position of Turkey which has
put forward precondition for their ratification, the process was
suspended.
