The day of the first meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee of Ethics will
be appointed after January 15 when the members of parliament return
from vacation, the Committee informed Pastinfo.
On 24 December 2013 two NGOs of the Yezidi community applied to the
Committee against Member of Parliament Manvel Badeyan.
"Are you so tasteless to think so. If a Yezidi asked me such a
question, I would be surprised but do you really think so?" he said
in answer to the question of reporters why the Armenian TV channel
broadcasts the intellectual show What, Where, When in Russian. His
pronouncement has insulted the Yezidi community.
A group of reporters applied to the committee against Republican MP
Arakel Movsisyan at the end of last year.
The reporters protested against the Armenian-Russian deals during
the extraordinary meeting of parliament on December 23 called to
ratify them. They entered the hall and held up posters. "Get these
monkeys out of here," Republican Arakel Movsisyan shouted. The
meeting was interrupted, and when it was resumed, the journalists
continued to protest behind the glass partition separating
the hall from the room for the journalists. - See more at:
