    Baku, Azerbaijan, Jan.27

    By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Turkish-French relations shouldn't be sacrificed to the made-up
"Armenian genocide", Chair of the Turkey- France Inter-Parliamentary
Friendship Group Kasim Gulpinar told Turkish TRT Haber TV channel on
Jan.27 commenting on the visit of French President Francois Hollande
    to Ankara.

Ankara hopes that as distinct from other French presidents, Hollande
will pursue a more logical policy with regard to the issue scrupulous
    for Turkey, according to Gulpinar.

The chairman said that the made-up "Armenian genocide" has always
been used in France's foreign policy. "The 1915 occasions must be
assessed by historians but not by politicians," Gulpinar stressed.

French President Francois Hollande arrived in Turkey on Jan.27 for a
visit at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart. Hollande is the
first French president visiting Turkey in the last 22 years.
