ARMENIA MUST WITHDRAW, BY 2015, SIGNATURE FROM PROTOCOLS WITH TURKEY - ARF DASHNAKTSUTYUN

YEREVAN. - Armenia must withdraw, by 2015, its signature from the
Armenian-Turkish protocols.
Giro Manoyan, Head of the Political Affairs Bureau and the Armenian
Cause Office of the Armenian opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party,
noted the aforementioned at a press conference on Monday.
As per Manoyan, the Armenian party should make it clear that Turkey
is the reason for the failure of the talks to normalize bilateral
relations.
"It was announced that the Armenian party still continues to have its
signature under the protocols. [The years between] 2010 and 2014 are
enough time for that 'still,'" he added.
The ARF official noted that the protocols have adversely affected
the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and, over
the course of the past five years, solely one country, Sweden, has
formally recognized the genocide.
