ECHR TO CONSIDER RETIRED ARMENIAN JUDGES' COMPLAINT AS PRIORITY
15:21 ~U 27.01.14
On January 14, 2014, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)
informed four Armenian judges - Tariel Manukyan, Leva Gabrielyan,
Frunze Dzvakeryan and Misha Asatryan - that the president of Section
III of the ECHR had passed a decision on consideration of their
complaint as a priority, in conformity with Article 41.
The retired judges' representatives, Ara Ghazaryan and Artak Zeinalyan,
explained that the ECHR does not often decide to consider a complaint
as a priority. In such cases, the ECHR is convinced of a serious
violation of human rights in a state.
