PROSPEROUS ARMENIA PARTY LEADER EXTENDS CONGRATULATIONS ON ARMENIAN ARMY DAY

Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan
addressed a congratulatory message on the Armenian Army Day.
The message reads, in particular:
"Dear compatriots,
"I cordially congratulate you on the 22nd anniversary of the Armenian
Army. For 22 years this holiday has been the symbol of our Homeland's
independence and peace. We all remember that our army, which is famous
for being the region's most efficient army, was formed in the most
crucial period for our nation. An integral part of the Armenian people,
our army endured all the hardships of that transition period and has
since been performing its mission as a highly efficient structure
which guarantees peace and stability in the region. The present-day
full-fledged Armenian Army is our pride.
"I cordially congratulate soldiers and officers of the Armenian
army, as well as all those who contributed to its formation and
consolidation.
"I congratulate our people, wish a happy service to our soldiers,
patience to their parents and inviolability and peace to our borders.
Eternal glory be to the freedom-fighters, soldiers and officers that
sacrificed their lives for their homeland and people! Eternal glory
be to the Armenian army!"
