RUSSIA'S GOVERNMENT TO CONSIDER MANDATORY REGISTRATION OF ARMENIAN CITIZENS UPON ARRIVAL IN RUSSIA
YEREVAN, July 10. /ARKA/. The government of the Russian Federation will
consider Thursday the signing of an agreement with Armenia's government
on revocation of mandatory registration for citizens of both countries
within 30 days upon arrival in Russia or Armenia, Novosti-Armenia
reported referring to RIA Novosti citing the government press office.
According to the respective Russian law, foreign citizens arriving
in Russia for a temporary stay are obliged to get registered within
7 working days after arrival.
In case of Russian citizens staying in Armenia and Armenian citizens
staying in Russia, the registration should be obtained if the period
of stay exceeds 30 days, says the report. -0--
