DPA LEADER: ARMENIA'S ACCESSION TO EAEU IS POSITIVE MOVE

The Democratic Party of Armenia is in favor of Armenia's integration
with Russia so it considers that Armenia's accession to the Eurasian
Economic Union (EaEU) is a positive move, DPA leader Aram Sargsyan
said during Yerevan-Moscow space bridge entitled 'Eurasian Choice -
Armenia-2014."
The delay in Armenia's entry into the EaEU and the attempts to
politicize the issue and to link it to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
raise concern, the politician said.
According to Mr Sargsyan, Armenia's position is the following:
"In all aspects, Artsakh corresponds to the norms of international
law and any attempt to isolate it from the outer world may lead to
a humanitarian catastrophe."
Also, Aram Sargsyan pointed to the necessity to raise awareness on
this issue.
