GOVERNMENT TO ALLOCATE 129,000 EUROS TO HELP ARMENIAN DEPORTEES RE-INTEGRATE
YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. Armenia's government made a decision to
appropriate 129,000 euros for supporting Armenian citizens deported
from the Netherlands to re-integrate into the society.
The support will be provided in the framework of the Dutch grant and
will cover mainly Armenian citizens who are in Holland illegally, have
no residence right and wish to return to Armenia, head of Armenia's
state migration service Gagik Yeganyan said. These citizens will get
maximum of 1,000 euros each during a year, he said. For this purpose,
the service will get a total of 31 million drams in 2014 and about
37 million drams in 2015.
As part of the program, about 100 Armenian citizens who will be forced
to return to homeland will get assistance to start a small business,
complete a training receive social, as well as legal and medical
assistance and temporary dwelling, Yeganyan said.
The program will provide assistance to any repatriates from Holland
who will return to homeland and apply to the state migration service,
Yeganyan said.
The head of the service also said the program will most probably last
