HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: $100,000 DONATED BY HRANT VARDANYAN NOT TO BE RETURNED

Armenian Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan has told Haykakan Zhamanak
that the $100,000 donated by Grand Holding owner Hrant Vardanyan will
not be returned. The sum was donated for the construction of the New
Aleppo residential district.
The newspaper reported earlier that the New Aleppo district for Syrian
Armenians who moved to Armenia will not be built.
The Minister noted that late Hrant Vardanyan donated that sum for the
implementation of any kind of projects and "if the district will not
be built, the money will be invested in other projects."
