ARMENIA'S MEDIA, SOCIAL NETWORKS INADEQUATELY RESPOND TO BORDER INCIDENTS - LARISA ALAVERDYAN

Larisa Alaverdyan, Executive Director of the Foundation Against the
Violation of Law (FAVL), believes that Armenian mass media and social
network do not adequately respond to border incidents.
"One should not sit before a PC and argue about whether the persons
in the photos are saboteurs or not. No one can cross the border on
his own will. Azerbaijan says it will let us alone, but it does not,"
Alaverdyan said.
Mass media and social networks made an inadequate response to the
capture of Hakob Injighulyan.
"All of them were harshly critical, but none of them knew for certain
if he himself had crossed the border. That was a gross blunder."
True, the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan border is difficult to protect
and improvement is necessary.
As to the Azerbaijani saboteur, he must be tried in Nagorno-Karabakh.
