UKRAINE CONCERNED BY ARMENIA'S EURASEC ACCESSION

Ukraine plans to propose to Russia about the possible risks of the
Eurasian Economic Union's activities starting from January 1, 2015.
Ukraine MFA official Vassily Zvarich stated the aforementioned,
the UNIAN news agency reported.
And during the next ministerial meeting, which is slated for September
12, "Ukraine also plans to propose to Russia the start of the EurAsEC's
[Eurasian Economic Community] activities as of January 1, 2015, and
the matter of including new member states--specifically Armenia--in
this community," Zvarich added.
He explained that official Kyiv is concerned by the following
matter: "Once joining this union, will Armenia have to review the
customs tariffs in trade with other WTO [World Trade Organization]
countries--including Ukraine--, since Armenia likewise is a WTO
member?"
