Ring of Fire opera to premiere in Shushi

"Ring of Fire" opera by famous Armenian composer Avet Terteryan will
have its Artsakh premiere in Shushi Fortress on September 1.
The performance is organized under the high patronage of First
Armenian Lady Rita Sargsyan, with the assistance of Culture Ministries
of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, and at the initiative of Spendiaryan
National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The opera is based on Boris Lavrenev's story "The Forty-First" and
poems by Yeghishe Charents. The performance will be dedicated to
Artsakh's Independence Day and the 85th birthday of Avet Terteryan.
